Of course, I am passionate about my family... but also about my career. I have been working as an RN for 38(!) years. My own mother told me that even as a very young child, I said that I wanted to be a nurse when I grew up. I had a nurse's play outfit when I was little. There are some difficult times when your career choice is nursing, but the amazing parts have more than outweighed the bad. My wish for everyone in this class is to find life work that will provide them with the same passion and enjoyment that nursing has brought me.
